Happy Halloween ~ October Finale

Happy Halloween!

Spooky tidings and great candy wishes to you all.

My house is currently inhabited with a small hungry witch.

Or is it a warlock?

Magician? A sorcerer....

How so ever Mo manifests on this spooky day, we are all set fir little ghosts and goblins to knock on our door.

*******************************************************

"Come in! Come in!" she cackled.

Last I touched base I was just getting out  the October quilts.

I have distributed them around the cottage along with my autumn gourds [some dried, some new], berries, branches. And my favorite mercury glass pumpkins.

In the brilliant honey tinted October light they just glow!   And bring me so much happiness.

Happy Halloween!

love, lizzy and Baby Mo.

  1. Lizzy, I love your table runner with the crocks, pumpkin, flowers, and crow. Did you create the pattern? It's one I think I could get behind for autumn (not being a lover of Halloween).
Your checkered and HST quilt on the arm of the couch makes me think I need to add some brighter oranges/cheddars to my little 9-patch blocks. That quilt is fabulous!
Dear Mo. He seems agreeable to wear costumes. And the sunset photo is so beautiful.

    1. The Crocks runner is my adapted version of a pattern from Primitive Pieces by Lynda, called It's a Crock". av on her website of same name. The small bright quilt on the chair is a Humble Quilts sewalong called Cascadia, possibly still on Lori's blog or av in her etsy shop. Changed to Lizzy colors.

  2. Baby Mo is such a good boy--wearing all his Halloween finery;)))
I do love those mercury pumpkins--so compelling...
I put out all our candy treats ready for the little goblins tomorrow night.
We plan to go out for lunch for our big meal tomorrow -- so no cooking at trick or treat time...
    [I must admit I snitched a small Mounds candy--my very favorite;)) ].
Happy Halloween...your quilts and decorations are so pretty...hugs, Julierose
