Flea Market Daze

Hi! How's everyone tonight?

I dragged my sleepy self off to the flea market today---the big [good] market but it seems that early morning thundershowers rained it out.

Just three surly dealers were there. And they were packing up to leave. I was sad. I for one do not mind rain.
Last week's alternative market was trashy, but big and I did find a few goodies.

Vintage beads from a fav seller....

Frosted pinks and rough pearls; carved ivory, coral bits...to be mixed with a few precious "seaglass" beads (recycled glass, handmade in Africa)....
for summery bracelets like these:

One of my bracelets was just featured in an etsy treasury! here
And now I know why I needed all those doll dishes a few weeks ago...perfect bead holders.

The same reliably wonderful woman also had a box of jumbled baubles:

I patiently sorted and found these pretties:

For my newest hearts....

Oddly, the beads were quite costly; these rhinestone pretties were not. The price was very right...and I love the result, don't you?

antique lace and linen heart
w/enamel lily of valley brooch[near mint cond.]
This large  heart, below, could even be a wedding ring holder for the little ringbearer to carry down the aisle! (I would just tack on a ribbon to tie the rings on securely.)

antique white on white linen heart
with iris/fleur de lys hand embroidery
rhinestone iris brooch, near mint.

blue and white pottery shard, recent treasure-Free!
