the alert on my computer reads:
THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A HIGH SURF ADVISORY...
LONG PERIOD SWELLS WILL BUILD OVERNIGHT... AND PRODUCE VERY ROUGH SURF ON SUNDAY. SURF HEIGHTS ARE EXPECTED TO BE 3 TO 4 FT SUNDAY MORNING... BUT QUICKLY BUILD TO 4 TO 7 FT.
Since any storm or hurricane is thousands of miles southeast of us, the warning brings excitement,
the allure of an exceptional beach day.
The shorebreak made for rough conditions...
but the water was so crisp and perfect...
just another day...
at the beach...
