Still Summer...

Yes, yes, it is September but summer isn't over yet. Not for ages and ages.

I like to sew outside on the beach...

but the idea of autumn makes me think of new quilts, new projects...

all handmade of course....

So I made a few little sewing hearts...

These are filled with fresh white beach sand!

And are meant to be used as tiny pincushions.

or sewing strawberries,

also known as emeries. The grit sharpens one's needles, removes rust...

so "they" say...

And I love make-dos/ sewing whimsies....
