Happy Fourth of July, my friends!
Here is Mo getting ready for his parade:

What do you mean,Mommy? That I must parade all by myself this year?
|
|
That's no fun!
Hi! Keeping up a good face and positive attitude, I did some holiday decorating this week. 4th of July is such a wonderful happy celebration of summer and good times. And even if this year won't be like other years and Mo's parade is cancelled, the Flags must fly and the sun will shine.
"You say there will be ice cream? For ME?!"

YES! The flags will fly and the sun will shine! Happy Independence day!
ReplyDeleteMaybe we can start the year all over again tomorrow. Wouldn't that be a celebration for all time!
ReplyDeleteHappy Independence Day to you and Mo.
ReplyDeleteOh loving Mo's headgear--he is a good sport;)))
ReplyDeleteAnd I love your flags in that glass frog...great idea...
You have decorated so beautifully...
Since i have only my basket wall hanging in the traditional colors, I am working on some wonky 4th of July stars...at least this year I got RW&B fabrics out...;)))
Happy 4th to you and Mo--ours will be just we two here at home base...

You decorate so beautifully, Lizzy. (I can hardly get my little flag quilt on the door.) Mo has lots of headbands but I don't think he looks happy to wear them (or maybe he does can I can't read his expressions).
ReplyDeleteHey, you finished your blue basket pillow, the one you had so much trouble with the company. I think it looks fabulous!
Happy Independence Day. Mo will always be his handsome self with or without a parade! Penny
ReplyDeleteMaybe Mo doesn't like your flags, but I do. Happy 4th!
ReplyDeleteMo loves anything that involves ice cream, so he was fine. I love our Flag, it is beautiful.
DeleteAwww, your beach cottage looks very festive, and summery. The blue basket pillow is very cute. I like your seahorse pillow, too.
ReplyDeleteI'd put on a headband too, if it meant there was ice cream in my near future ;) Mo is a great sport.
Our city literally went nuts with explosives and fireworks last night. I cannot accurately describe the nonstop barage that went on from before dusk until well after midnight. Guess everyone felt the need to express themselves this year.
Hope you are well,
Kel
It all looked so special! Especially Mo! I love all your patriotic touches. Kit 🇺🇸
