February ~ A Beach Walk

Hi, everyone! Yesterday [Monday] was a lovely day, a warm, still day of sunshine and hopefulness. It is the winter equivalent of "Indian Summer" I suppose. What shall we call it: False Spring?

I rushed through my Monday errands to I could go to the beach; the days are of course still short and walks have to be squeezed into afternoons before the sunsets.

Come walk with me....

gone to the beach.....

  1. Looks wonderful. Winter arrived overnight and it was only 8C when I got up . It’s 23C now and lovely and sunny. Summer has returned.

  3. Thank you for the outing to your beach - a breath of fresh air. It's going to be a scorcher here today so an imaginary barefoot walk along the water's edge is a treat.
The subtle seasonal changes of colour in the grasses there never ceases to amaze. Penny

    1. A winter walk anywhere is so invigorating, a park, a field, a mountain trail. But of course the beach is best.

  5. Walking in the sand, especially barefoot on a warm day, sounds SO appealing! I'm not sure how far I'd get though. Might need someone in a golf cart thing to follow me so they could drive me back when my knees gave out! It would still be nice to feel the sand on my feet...

    1. Baby Mo was unwell for a few days, he was tucked up in his bed w his warmer disk. [nothing serious, his heartworm preventative meds make him throw up and he is sad. Better now]
