From Lizzy to Liz

Hi! Just a quick show and tell for Lori's Linky party page. This is [again], the little quilt I made for Liz in Oregon [not Ohio, sorry!].

I based my little quilt on a doll quilt in my Pinterest files. I used Lori's Country Roads block from last year's quiltalong.  This is one of the smallest doll quilts I've made. I love tiny quilts.

I often use antique or vintage orphan quilt blocks as backings for my doll quilts. I try to choose a block that is the style, age , and colors of my little top.

And any leftover tidbits get turned into sewing emeries/ strawberries or pin keeps.

Thank you for such a fun swap , Lori!  http://humblequilts.blogspot.com/2016/05/celebrate-little-quilt-swap-linky-party.html

    1. Hi Kel! Yes the swap is so fun!

Spring is always cold and rainy here, too bad. I *might* get to the flea in June, but probably not til September or October now. Bummer.

  4. Soon the crochet hook will be retired and we'll see what we can quilt ... maybe small projects are the way to wade into the pool?

    love to Mo.

Hi! I'm allowing comments from everyone, even anonymous for awhile, to see what happens. With comments moderation. Hopefully the awful porn spammer has gone elsewhere. Or you can always email me! I love to hear from everyone.
