Hi! Time for our walk on the beach. It's warm and sunny, 65*, no wind. Let's get out and enjoy the day. C'mon...
Look at all the footprints, heading to the beach. I'm not the only one who thinks this is a beach day.
Despite the balmy air, the sun is low in the sky. The dunes weeds create an autumn tapestry.
The roses will bloom through December, scenting the air with a hint of remembered summer days.
But sunset comes shockingly early.
Beautiful as it is.

gone to the beach...
It snowed at my house yesterday....:( It didn't stick, but was a warning of the winter to come. I feel so much better in warm weather.
ReplyDeleteI love your beach. And your roses. And your sunset.
ReplyDeleteBack to work for me. Thanks for the lovely walk.

Looks like a beautiful day. Love balmy weather, and the sunset looked spectacular.
ReplyDeleteFired up the heater tonight, supposed to be in the 40's overnight. It was time ;)

Chilly for you! I hope you had something yummy going in the slow cooker.
DeleteI'm so glad you had a good day!
ReplyDeleteLovely roses, wish I could smell them. And the rose hips are such a beautiful color! Have you ever had rose hip tea? Very high in vitamin C.
It was drizzly here yesterday all day. I drove up to see my brother and the drive up wasn't bad. But coming back it was rush hour traffic, damp, and pitch black out by 5:30. I saw a fender-bender, two nasty-looking accidents, and a deer/car accident on the drive home. Boy, was I glad to pull into my driveway in one piece!
If I had my choice I think I'd stay on Daylight Savings Time all year around. I hate when it gets dark so early!
What a lovely visit to the beach you gave me! Thanks friend. I hope your Thanksgiving is a wonderful one! Kit
