Sun, Setting on 2025 ~ Happy New Year

 Happy New Year, dear friends.

I am home and each day sees me a bit better after the frightening blast of Flu A. Combined with the iv dose of immune suppressants on December 15, I had no physical resources to create antibodies and fight the flu. I was just in the ER one day, not admitted to the hospital bec as the dr said, he had many other much sicker patients in his tiny make do hospital.

Friends took Mo, who had health issues of his own. But oh how he loved this home's heated floors!

He has been so loved and cared for.

I am trying not to mourn Christmas that Never Was. ''Better days ahead.''

I am very blessed with the love of friends and family.

best wishes to you all.

lizzy

  2. You have had a terrible scary time, so sorry to hear it. Maybe you could get Mo a little heated under the rug pad? We have one and the dogs like it better than the heated floor because softer.

Hope you continue on the road to recovery a bit every day.

    1. Hi Ceci. Can you tell me more about the floor heating pad you use for your dogs? I think Mo would love that. If safe!

  4. So sorry to hear that you were unwell Izzy, I was hit yesterday with the fever and today it's less but still there. I sent you some water colours and things some time ago and I would like to send some more if you could get in touch with your mailing address. It was awhile ago and I can't find it. Take care of yourself and Mo. Let me know if you would like the things. dispatchervalerie@gmail.com

    1. Thank you, Penny! Wishing you a good year too. Warmer today and bright sunshine, but the cold makes me cough still, so looking out only.
