In Just Spring ~ 2020

In Just Spring: e e cummings.

Best wishes and Love to everyone as we welcome spring's holidays this week. I'm finding is hard to say Happy Easter, Happy Passover, Welcome Spring! though my heart says yes, let's try.

We have gale warnings, rain. We had hail. It is cold, here.

Mo is just as happy as not that his [solo, on deck].Easter Parade is postponed.

Tonight's pantry supplies dinner is whole wheat pasta carbonara with asparagus. For Easter dinner my friend found me a pork roast, tiny red potatoes [w lemon and sour cream], and brussels sprouts. The roast will make nice leftovers, so it is not extravagant.

  2. I adore that charcoal bunny with the huge "hairy" carrots! And your basket o'buttons! All your sweet decorating shamed me into getting out a couple of my vintage Polish table runners for "decorating" the dining room. Not much room in this country cabin to store decorations beyond Christmas things and quilts. Snow here and high winds for the past two days. The snow mostly melted this afternoon except for some shady spots and the hillside. Even higher winds expected Sunday-Monday "near hurricane force" according to the local weather-person. No gardening for me just yet, lol! So glad your lovely friend found some special groceries for your Easter dinner.

  3. MO's rabbit ears put a smile on my face. Happy Easter to you. It's a really cold windy day here with quite a bit of rain. It was just what was wanted to feel we should stay home. My one visit out this week was to get my annual 'flu shot, it was good to drive my car even if the journey was short. I'm grocery shopping online now and what they don't have my son is getting for me when he is out and about, so we are very fortunate. Take care and stay well.

  4. Easter greetings to our you and Mo. It's a treat to have a glimpse of Forsythia and your beautiful family heirloom tablecloth in the background. The little button basket is a gem. You have such a knack of creating interesting vignettes to decorate your home.
    Enjoy your dinner.
    Keep safe and warm. Penny

Your Easter Dinner sounds perfect! Hope you Enjoy it, and the day. Mo is the perfect bunny. Those ears match his coat so well.
