Hi! Guess what! I wore shorts today! Imagine that. And of course I was oh so relieved that last year's shorts still fit, lol.
No quilting happening in the little sewing room lately. I just finished making white linen hearts for my etsy shop, just in time for folks to slip them in with their fave winter clothes, as summer clothes come out and wintery woolens are packed away. This summer's herbal filling is a sweet mix of lavender, lemon balm, and lemon verbena. Light and fragrant.

gone to the beach...
I believe this wonderful dandelion meadow photo is from Mel? So perfectly May. |
Your dandelion pic looks like my neighbors yard...lol Your hearts are lovely and I grow and love the scent of lemon balm. :) Kit
ReplyDeleteLovely sachets!!
ReplyDeleteLOL, yeah, I think that is my yard a couple years ago. We were paying $$$ to TrueGreen but all our neighbors have yards covered in dandelions so we finally gave up wasting that money!
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty white hearts! Where did you get the crocheted pansies?
The pansies are from a doily that was very damaged in the middle, from the church flea...you can see it in one of the first batch of pix on the left?
Deleteoh, those hearts are adorable !! I will be checking them out ! And yes, those dandelions are very much spring! We have them here in our neighborhood too! Grateful photo..though!
ReplyDeleteHi to Mo from Rusty🐾
That lovely collection of white hearts is like a confection of white peach petals.
ReplyDeleteMo seems to be saying "Come on Mum, are you finished - I've got important things to do like supervising the sewing activities!!" Love it. Penny
Congratulations on the warmer weather!!! You and Mo have been looking forward to it, I'm sure!
ReplyDeleteThe hearts are gorgeous! It's an amazing fragrance you've put in them - it's never occurred to me to add a sachet when I have stored clothes (I'm thumping my head on the wall now).
Enjoy the warm with Mo!
Yay for fitting into last year's shorts...I might be shopping for new (larger) ones.
ReplyDeleteI just love all of the hearts. It's a wonder I can choose just one set. Looking forward their arrival in my mailbox!
Kel
Love that expression on Mo! As if is is saying "Come again?" The hearts are so pretty.
ReplyDeleteLizzy, I can't begin to tell you how beautiful I think your next-to-last photo is! The ocean, the beautiful creamy sky. It's just gorgeous. A photo, almost like a painting, that would be beautiful enlarged and framed. I love it!
