Summer Still Lifes

Hello! Summer is a time for sorting treasures. A starfish, a special stone, favorite shells, a bit of old rope.
I arrange, rearrange my best finds, on my favorite pieces of blue and white or black and sepia and white English china.

I fill my old pitchers with summer flowers.

  1. Oooooh, love the light blue pitcher with the white hydrangea. I can imagine you tooling around your house arranging all of these treasures :) I also really like the jar filled with stones, so pretty.

Thanks for sharing your treasures with us. I enjoyed them!

  3. Hello! You have such a knack for making creative and such pretty displays. I wish I had your talent. I hope you are feeling better. Sending hugs. Gonna be hot here again. I am retreating to the basement. :) Kit

  4. We got some rain! It's cooled things off a bit but it also makes me want to just sleep, lol.

Your house always looks so pretty, like a magazine shoot. Mine looks more like a pack-rat nest...

The ball covered in white shells (or painted white?) made me think that a ball covered in those tiny colorful shells would be really pretty and unusual. So would the tiny black shells. Hmm. Maybe once you're back on your beach and mobile without pain I'll get you to send me some of them!

Lots of bummed people here - today and tomorrow was supposed to be city-wide garage sale day - all the hard work getting ready and we get rain. Typical!

Take it easy and have a good weekend.
