Friday

Hi! It's Friday again. 42*/ windchill 37* winds NNW at 34 mph
Time for the beach.

I love this bench.
I plan to spend many summer evenings here.

Coming home: nothing says Happy like forsythia in bloom. Maybe it's mundane---but so wonderful to me.

I used the outtake blocks of the antique quilt top to make a small crib quilt [or large doll quilt?]. The little bits of fabric were too special to just fold away, unused.

Have a great weekend. Wish me good luck / good karma for the flea [s].

love

gone to the beach

evening - a squall out over the ocean.
See the ribbons of rain, unfurling grey.

  1. Ooh, lots of great beach pictures! I'd love to walk along the water's edge, but not when the water is that cold!

The pale green seaglass is just beautiful. I love that color.

Love the tiny quilt, it looks perfect. Are you going to quilt it?

Forsythias here are long gone, most spring-blooming trees have already done their thing. I still have some tulips blooming, though.

The rain clouds over the sea are a little scary-looking!

Enjoy the beach for us, too!

    1. The seaglass is a piece of an old coca cola bottle.
I'll have the doll quilt quilted when the large quilt is done. My hand can t do much quilting :-(

  3. Such pretty skies even if it is a squall.
My forsythia does not do well, as the deer like it too much!

  5. Wishing I could shop with you.

    Your beach is breathtaking.

If I found one piece of seaglass I'd be so tickled you could probably hear me all the way to your beach. That doesn't stop me from looking all the time.

I can hardly wait to see what you find at the market.

    Aloha,
    Hunter
