''October had tremendous possibility.
The summer's oppressive heat was a distant memory,
and the golden leaves promised a world full of beautiful adventures.'' ― Sarah Guillory
Hi, guys! Come for a walk with me! The sun is warm but the air is dry with a hint of crispness. You can wear your shorts, bring a hat---no sweater needed, not yet anyway. It's such a beautiful day. We'll hike on past the dunes, down to water's edge.
Tonight there's a chill in the air. Not a damp cold summer sea wind, but a dry stillness. A half-moon is hiding behind cold wispy clouds in a dark velvet sky.
Mo is practicing his hiberation tactics.
Welcome, October!

Those first two photos are wonderful! I love the darker sea with the white breaking waves, and the sky reflected in the water. Those would make great landscapes to hang on the wall, LOL - not that you would. But heck, you can look outside!
ReplyDeleteMo is so funny - did he bury himself in there? He looks cozy! It's been sweater weather here, which is a nice change. Usually we go from a too-hot summer to a frigid winter - this year we actually seem to be having an autumn. We might even get colored leaves since we've had enough rain!
Thanks for sharing!
We are having such a wonderful fall. Sounds like yours although I'm not near the beach!
ReplyDeleteIt looks so lovely! Thanks for the walk
