Cheddar

A quick quilting page...I am airing my fall quilts today. The weather is breezy and cool....


. This is a cutie, a rare cheddar/orange Wedding Ring quilt....





I love the tiny segments that form the rings, especially the traditional turkey red. So graphic, so much movement in this version of what is often a pastel, rather boring pattern.

Mid to late 20th sentury, quilting is sparse but fine/ backing is poly-cotton muslin, too bad.....
Midwestern.
