Happy Holidays, everyone!
Did you ever notice how the shortest day of the year is also one of the very busiest! I was still Christmas shopping long after dark while the wonderful (eclipse happening NOW!) full moon rose high in the purple velvet sky.
At the firehouse as always.
The second batch of trees had just arrived! So they were fresh and beautiful, a fragrant blue green...
We took our Tree home...
Got it up...
And it fell over! Now it s just barely standing, like a wisp of breeze and---splat!
I hope not...I've collected my ornaments for years...
My little mechanical lighthouse topper, from a long ago Christmas shopping Sunday in Greenwich Village.....
They are all loved...
treasured memories, too....
