One of Those Days

Mo with Flowers on his Back

Hi! Little things, irritations and upsets--not important in a world wide view of things, but oh, boy they can ruin a day! So we're going to take a nice ''looking for Fall" walk, me and Mo, and we're gonna try to calm down. Come with?
First we'll garden peep. Look at my friends' GIANT elephant ears and other pretties.

My deck pots.

Next we'll walk around towards the secret pathway to the beach. This is morning.

These are afternoon pix. I like the odd foggy glare and didn't try to edit it out.

I love when people put seasonal wreaths on their old grey gates.

 On around the block...

Don't the ghastly purple berries look fake! Like Styrofoam inside too, I investigated. But interesting.
edit: Blog friend Penny tells us this shrub is called Callicarpa, or Beautyberry. Wiki says the berries could be made into jam. Ha! Styrofoam jam? here .

Montauk daisies and goldenrod. My dad called these Shasta daisies in the midwest.

On to our bench.  See the flower shadows on Mo!

Mo can go from happy to ''Don'wanna'' in seconds. I never know why.

"No means no Mommy. I'm not walking another inch!''

Oh the flubs and issues? Tomorrow will be better, right?
Don't forget to go out and admire this year's Harvest Moon!

love

Tonight's beach photo is from my friend of the tropical garden at the begiining of this post.
